The Shepherd’s Hut is a standalone hut suitable for two people. The hut has a kitchenette that includes a refrigerator, kettle, toaster and oven. The en-suite shower has hot water and a heated towel rail. The seating area converts into a double bed.
Outside, the platform area (non-slip millboard) overlooks beautiful fields for many miles. In front of the hut is an area of wild and perennial flowers on either side of a paved path which leads from parking area at front of the main house.
The shepherd’s hut is approximately 50 metres from the parking area. The entrance to the hut is elevated and accessible only via three step to the outside deck. Therefore it may not be suitable for those seeking ground floor accommodation.
The shepherd’s hut can accommodate 2 adults. Generally, we would say it is unsuitable for young children as the inside space is not really sufficient for cots or additional beds.
A welcome pack consisting of cereal, milk, bread, rice and pasta await guests. Home-made pasta sauces, casseroles, curries cooked by professional cook may be purchased at reasonable cost.
